- Created a framework for Tech Transfer by standardizing licensing Agreements;
- Terrafore - $1.4 Million dollar Thermal Energy Storage Research project with funding from the Department of Energy. It involves the Dean, two professors and several students, with one of them likely to get a Ph.D. Dedicated lab set up at SC-RISE, the new solar innovation center of UCR at CE-CERT.
- Terrafore Inc. - First industry partner and on the advisory council of SC-RISE of UCR.
